Starks bagged groceries for several years before playing basketball for
several community colleges. He finished his collegiate career at
Oklahoma State University. Although he was passed over in the draft,
Starks worked his way into the NBA after stints in the Continental
Basketball Association and the World Basketball League. He was
eventually signed by the Golden State Warriors in 1988, but left in 1990
to try out for the New York Knicks. In one practice, he tried to dunk on
Knicks center Patrick Ewing. Ewing threw him down and Starks twisted his
knee. The team was not allowed to release him unless it healed by the
end of December. When it didn't heal by that time, the Knicks could not
release Starks, and thus kept him. As a result, Starks has on many
occasions referred to Ewing as his saving grace. He eventually became
the starting shooting guard, replacing Gerald Wilkins. Starks became a
key player on the team and spent eight seasons in New York from 1990 to
1998. Starks was a participant in the 1992 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Starks was at the center of one of the most famous plays in Knick
history. During a 1993 playoffs series against the Chicago Bulls, Starks
was in the right corner of the court being closely guarded by B.J.
Armstrong. Ewing came to set a screen for Starks, who faked to the left
like he was going to use the pick, and then fiercely drove along the
baseline and dunked over the much taller Horace Grant as well as Michael
Jordan.
Starks ranks 20th all-time in league career three-point field goals
made, and is the Knicks' all-time leader in that category. He made 217
during the 1994-95 NBA season, breaking Louie Dampier's single-season
professional (NBA or ABA) record of 199 during the 1968-69 ABA season.
Dennis Scott broke Starks' record a year later with 267; it now belongs
to Ray Allen, who made 269 during the 2005-06 NBA season.

Louis Landry plays for the Washington Redskins of the National Football
League. Landry was a four-year starting safety for the Louisiana State
University Tigers. Credited with 48 straight starts for the
Tigers, Landry finished his career with 315 tackles and 12
interceptions. His 12 interceptions left him with the third-highest
total in school history, while his 315 tackles rank seventh in LSU
history. Landry made an immediate impact at LSU, starting 10 games
as a true freshman in 2003 while helping the Tigers win the BCS National
Championship. He recorded 80 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, three
sacks, two interceptions, four pass-breakups, and one blocked kick.
Landry was named to the Freshman All-SEC team, Second Team All-SEC and
the First-Team Freshman All-American Team. During his sophomore
season the Tigers finished 16th in the nation, but Landry's standing
remained high again. He was named to the Second-Team All-SEC and he made
the SEC Academic Honor Roll. He started all 12 games, finishing the
season with 92 total tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks, four
interceptions, six pass-breakups, and one forced fumble. In 2005,
LSU won the SEC Western Division and the Peach Bowl over Miami. Landry
registered 70 total tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, three
interceptions, and eight pass-breakups. Landry was named a
First-Team All-SEC and Third-Team All-American by the Associated Press
and First-Team All-SEC by the SEC coaches. He chose to forgo the
lure of the NFL to return to LSU for his senior season even though many
analysts projected him as a high draft pick. He was considered the top
free safety in the nation and a potential All American for the season
Landry lived up to these expectations, starting all 13 games, earning
first team All-American and first team All-SEC honors after collecting
74 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one
blocked kick, and three interceptions. One of his greatest hits in
his collegiate career occurred his senior season against the University
of Alabama when he blitzed quarterback John Parker Wilson and leveled
him only a few seconds after taking the snap and a second after
releasing the ball. His senior season was capped with an invitation to
the Senior Bowl and as a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award.
Landry was selected 6th overall by the Washington Redskins in the 2007
NFL Draft where (according to their depth chart) he would play strong
safety opposite Sean Taylor. He was one of four LSU players taken in the
first round of the 2007 draft, along with quarterback JaMarcus Russell,
and wide receivers Dwayne Bowe and Craig Davis. He had 3 tackles
his first game. In his second game, he had a key hit on a Philadelphia
Eagles' wide receiver kevin Curtis to make him drop a pass on a fourth
down, to win the game. At the beginning of the 2007 season, Landry
played the Strong Safety position, but since the death of teammate Sean
Taylor, he has been moved as a replacement at the Free Safety position.
On January 5th, 2008, Landry intercepted two balls in a Wild Card game
vs. the Seattle Seahawks in a losing effort.

Landry was a college safety for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets from
2002 to 2005. He was drafted in the 5th round by the Baltimore Ravens.
Dawan was a high school quarterback; he originally was redshirted to
play quarterback in college but changed positions. Dawan, in four years,
had 250 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 7 interceptions, and four fumble
recoveries. The most notable performance of Dawan's career was against
Auburn in 2005 when he accumulated 10 tackles and an interception to
help defeat the Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium 24-13. He is also the
older brother of LSU safety LaRon Landry who was drafted by the
Washington Redskins in the 2007 NFL draft with the 6th overall pick.
Dawan's rookie season for the Ravens saw him earn a starting spot in the
defensive secondary alongside fellow safety Ed Reed. Dawan had what was
considered a very successful rookie season, collecting 89 tackles, 3
sacks, and 5 interceptions for 101 yards and one touchdown. In
January, 2007, Landry was voted to the Pro Football Weekly PFWA
All-Rookie Team as a starting defensive safety as well as Rick
Gosselin's All-Rookie team as featured in The Dallas Morning News.

L. "Ickey" Woods (born February 28, 1966 in Fresno, California) is a
former American football fullback who played his entire NFL career (1988
to 1991) with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played college football at UNLV.
He is best remembered for his lumbering "Ickey Shuffle" end zone dance,
performed when he scored touchdowns.
Woods rushed for 1066 yards and 15 touchdowns in his rookie season,
along with 228 yards and 3 touchdowns in the playoffs as the Bengals
advanced to Super Bowl XXIII. His team lost the game 20-16, but he
finished as the game's leading rusher with 79 yards. In 1989, Woods tore
his left anterior cruciate ligament in the second game of the season, a
41-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He missed 13 months. By the
time he returned, his starting role was filled by Harold Green.
In 1991, Woods injured his right knee in the preseason. He returned at
midseason but he ran for just 97 yards on 36 carries. He was out of
football by age 26. His career statistics include 332 carries for 1,525
yards and 27 touchdowns, along with 47 receptions for 397 yards.
Following his injury-shortened football career, Woods made appearances
as a boxer on the television series Thunderbox. He also sold meat from a
truck, with Blanchester, OH quickly becoming one of his favorite
hangouts.
Woods is currently the coach of the Cincinnati Sizzle of the National
Women's Football Association and runs the Ickey Woods Youth Foundation.
He also appeared in the Bootsy Collins's new music video Whodey
Invasion. For a period of time, he was selling Omaha Steaks as a door to
door salesman doing the Ickey Shuffle as part of his sales pitch.
Woods's contributions to the Bengals were noted on the television series
"How I Met Your Mother" when character Barney Stinson, in a series of
escalating dares, challenged another character to perform the "Ickey
Shuffle" on a television news broadcast while declaring, "Elbert 'Ickey'
Woods, the Bengals were fools to cut you in '91. Your 1,525 rushing
yards and 27 touchdowns will not be forgotten. So, Coach Dave Shula,
screw you and your crappy steakhouse!"

He is set to enter the 2008 NFL Draft.
Freshman season - Doucet started his freshman year and was named to the

Sophomore season - Doucet began taking a bigger part as he played in 12
games and started five. He did not play in the 2005 Chick-fil-A Peach
Bowl against the University of Miami Hurricanes due to an ankle injury,
which he got during the SEC Championship game against Georgia. He

“Buster” Davis is a wide receiver drafted by the San Diego Chargers. He
played previously for the 2003 National Champions LSU Tigers.
Davis enrolled in LSU in 2003. He was forced to compete for game time
with an extremely talented Tigers receiving corp that helped lead LSU to
a BCS National Championship.
In Davis' sophomore year the Tigers failed to repeat their success of
2003. In spite of this Davis emerged as the Tiger's receiving leader
with 43 catches for 659 yards. He scored his first touchdown in the
Tigers 24-7 win over Vanderbilt.
Davis played in 11 of the Tigers games in 2005, starting 5. He ranked
third on the squad with 35 receptions, for 559 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The high point of his season came in the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl where he
caught 5 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown in a win over Miami.
As a senior Davis doubled as a receiver and a punt returner. He finished
the year with 56 catches for 834 yards and four touchdowns. He finished
his career with four catches for 50 yards in the Sugar Bowl against
Notre Dame in his home of New Orleans.
Davis was drafted by the Chargers 30th overall at the end of the 1st
round of the 2007 NFL Draft and was the 2nd LSU receiver selected in the
1st round after Dwayne Bowe who went to the Chiefs at 23.

Anthony
Wright is a football quarterback in the NFL who currently plays for the
New York Giants, as a back-up quarterback to Eli Manning.
He attended the University of South Carolina and was signed by the
Dallas Cowboys in 2000 after having made the Pittsburgh Steelers roster
in 1999 as an undrafted free agent, where he was the team's
fourth-string quarterback. (Behind Kordell Stewart, Mike Tomczak, and
Pete Gonzalez.) He has played as a backup for most of his career, but
has started many games in most seasons of play. In 2001, when Quincy
Carter was injured, Wright became his replacement, but would have a knee
injury several weeks later and be replaced by Clint Stoerner.
Dallas coach Dave Campo released Wright from the team at the end of the
2002 offseason following the acquisition of Chad Hutchinson in favor of
keeping Stoerner for the third quarterback position, stating that
Stoerner was better suited for the job,in light of Wright's ambition to
be a starting quarterback. Wright was later signed by the Ravens.
Wright would take over for Kyle Boller at quarterback during the 2003
season when Boller was injured, and posted a 5-2 record, taking the team
to the playoffs. However, he was injured for the entirety of the 2004
season. Following another injury to Boller during the first game of the
2005 season, he was named as the starting quarterback for the Ravens.
Prior to the 2005 season, he has a below-average quarterback rating of
62.
With Carson Palmer's former backup QB, Jon Kitna, now signed with the
Detroit Lions, Wright signed a one-year deal with the Bengals on Friday,
April 21, 2006, winning a competition with Craig Krenzel and Doug
Johnson for the primary backup spot. On April 13, 2007 he signed with
the Giants, throwing him into a four-quarterback scramble for roster
spots with Eli Manning, Tim Hasselbeck, and Jared Lorenzen.
On June 7, 2007, Wright was showcased in a quarterbacks OTA feature on
giants.com in an "amazing toss", accurately throwing a football into a
dumpster across the practice field.

farm boy from Van Meter, Iowa was only 17 when he struck out eight
members of the St. Louis Cardinals in three innings of an exhibition
game. After this awesome display of pitching, Feller was advised to seek
voluntary retirement from high school in order to sign a professional
baseball contract. For 20 years, the teenage phenomena was known as
"Bullet Bob" and "Rapid Robert." As a rookie, he struckout 15 batters in
a single game, which at that time was an American League record. In
1940, Bullet Bob became the first American League pitcher to throw a
complete game no-hitter on opening day.
At age 23, his career was interrupted by his four-year enlistment in the
Navy. Upon entering the Navy, Feller became an anti-aircraft gunner
aboard the U.S.S. Alabama and came out a highly decorated war veteran.
He then re-entered Major League Baseball to regain his dominance on the
mound. Even though his military career consumed four prime baseball
years, Feller ranks 28th in history with 266 wins. He remains the
Indians all-time leader in shutouts (46), strikeouts (2,581), innings
(3,828) and All-Star appearances (8).
To this day, baseball historians speculate that Bullet Bob might have
won 350 games and recorded nearly 3,500 strikeouts had he not joined the
military. In 1962, this bullet hit the bulls-eye with an induction into
the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
